Stuart Ramsey is still a driving influence in the Turangga Farm production, in spite of handing the reins to son John. With enormous energy and passion for the farm, Stuart maintains a close eye on proceedings while enjoying some other interests, incuding a large cattle property in Western Queensland. He adds character and enthusiasm to the farm, and his expertise and input remains invaluable.
Son John has taken the reins now and adds a new dimension to operations. An accomplished horseman, his skills with yearlings, rafted out through years of working for the family business, are highly regarded. John trains some of his own racehorses locally at the Scone Racecourse as well as breaking in many of the horses that race in his fathers famous green and gold colours.
Broodmare manager Rachel Leitch is from the shaky isles and brings a no nonsense approach to the farm operations. Herself a skilled horsewoman, she has developed into an integral part of the Turangga Farm team. She has a background in thoroughbred racing, harness racing, sales preparation and polo, so her expertise is invaluable to the farm.
Many other valuable employees make up the team that is Turangga Farm. Without their care and dedication to their jobs (and beyond) the stud would not have achieved its success.
